Church Services

Services are at 11am on Sundays

We also have occasional evening services, house groups that meet during the week, as well as activities for children and young people. Various community groups also use the church premises during the week. We run a tearoom in the Mackintosh hall which is open during the week for light refreshments.

Special Services

Communion

We celebrate communion in a formal way 4 times a year but informal communions are held from time to time. We welcome anyone who loves the Lord Jesus or feels the need for his presence to join with us at these special times.

Baptism

Baptism is celebrated in the Sunday morning worship by arrangement and enquiries about this Sacrament should be made to our Minister or Session Clerk.

Worship

Our worship is made up of both modern and more traditional styles with an emphasis on congregational participation and team ministry. We aim to harness and develop the gifts and talents of our congregation in music, leading junior church, reading, prayer and drama.

Musical talents in Service. At the end of the morning service we serve tea and coffee at the back of the church so that folks can get to know one another.

Sunday School

Sundays during school term-time, 11.00-12.00 for everyone from 0-17: babies, pre-school, primary, and secondary school aged children.

We start off the morning with songs and a children’s address in the church, and then head to the kids’ rooms for fun, games and Bible stories. Sunday school is always varied, with games, crafts, drama, worksheets and story telling. All our activities are centred around Bible stories or a Christian theme. There are a number of different groups, suitable for the full spectrum of under 16s.

BUBBLES is a mixed bunch of babies, toddlers and preschoolers – they sing songs, play games and get a wee bit messy with their crafts.Evening worship guitarist

Our primary-aged children love hearing stories from the Bible and playing games, and doing activity sheets or creating pieces of art based on the week’s story.

We also have a teenage group - they meet to chat about different issues that come up in their lives and see what the Bible has to say about them.

All the groups are lead by people from the church, and are founded on what the Bible has to say about Jesus. Everyone is welcome to come along and join in, and we are happy to have visitors come and try out our groups.
